It takes the data and communicates it in the form of statistics that are relevant to the user’s purposes. Users can view statistics based on a sporting event, business tool or event. The functionality of Daytum can be applied in many ways. Users can also see what others are doing with Daytum through activity feeds on the homepage. Daytum is also available as an iPhone app. The application provides users with pages that give them a way to group displays together with a name or specific order. Individual items can be grouped together under specific categories. Daytum also protects users with privacy settings that the use can choose to determine what is available for public viewing on their profile. Accounts are hosted through enterprise quality servers on Amazon so the user can download their Daytum entries as CSV files whenever they want.

A new user can create a Daytum account by entering their email address in the space provided along the left hand side of the homepage (in the light grey box titled Create Your Account). After clicking the “Submit Email” button to the right of the field, the user is taken to a thank you page. The page asks the user to check their email inbox for an activation email. This must be accessed to complete registration and begin using Daytum. Users can also download Daytum from the iPhone App Store.

What does it cost to use the application?

Daytum offers users two account options: free and Plus. The free account gives the user up to six displays per page, one page, up to 1,000 items and 24 categories. The plus membership costs just under $5 per month and upgrades to include eight displays per page, up to 12 pages, unlimited items, unlimited categories and access to privacy settings. Users can cancel their Plus account or upgrade a free account at any time.
